Our Mission
As volunteers of a local food pantry, we were disheartened to learn that many of our clients were sharing their food with their pets. It was sad to see people forced to sacrifice their own food as a way to be able to keep the pets they love. As huge animal lovers ourselves, we consider pets to be family. So we started Chuck Waggin as a unique pet food pantry. We are a 501c3 nonprofit corporation.
70% of American households have pets. That means the majority of people facing food insecurity also have pets who need food. These are the pets we are committed to helping.
Since we do not receive any government funding, we rely solely on private donations. Please consider a gift of cash or pet food.
We are 100% volunteer run. No one receives compensation for workng at our pet pantry. We are always looking for help.
We are also committed to including individuals with Special Abilities in our organization. They are some of the biggest pet advocates!
